The Ladies and Men's Prayer Band has been meeting every Tuesday morning since 1954 -- praying fervently for our church and others. Everyone is welcome to come and be apart of the prayer band. Men, women and couples are attending. God is greatly blessing each service and many, many prayers have been answered. Prayer requests come in daily and they are given to the leader and prayed over each week. Over the years there have been so many prayer requests and answered prayers, and God has performed many miracles through prayer.

The Tremont Church of God Prayer Band was organized on March 13, 1954. Mrs. Cora Leppard was the leader and Mrs. Ruth McCall was the co-leader. The pastor of the church at the time was Reverend James L. Slay.
Mrs. Leppard was called home to Heaven to be with the Lord on February 16, 1982. The Lord called and appointed Reverend Mattie Harvell as leader for the prayer band on March 1, 1982. The leadership was approved by the church congregation in a Sunday morning worship service on recommendation of Reverend Robert Vance and the Church Council. Reverend Mattie Harvell passed away on March 5th, 2017 and is now rejoicing in Glory with our Lord and Savior.
Prayer Bandmeans that we BAND together in one mind and one accord for victory and deliverance in each ones prayers.
